Terms of service

These terms cover your use of OttoStudy (ottostudy.com), a revision app for Cambridge IGCSE students operated by OTTOPILOT AI SOLUTIONS (“we”). By creating an account you agree to them.

Your account

You sign in with a Google account. Keep it secure; you’re responsible for activity on your OttoStudy account.
If you are under 18, use OttoStudy with a parent’s or guardian’s agreement. Parents and teachers can create their own accounts and link to a student only with the student’s approval.
Be kind and use the app for studying. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, cheat in leagues, try to break or overload it, or share inappropriate content.

Plans and payment

New students get a free trial of every feature. No card is needed, and nothing is charged when it ends; you simply move to the Free plan.
Paid plans (Plus and Pro) are monthly subscriptions at the prices shown on the Plans page, charged in Malaysian ringgit (RM). Payments are processed by Razorpay Curlec; we never see or store your full card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. A plan belongs to the student, and may be paid for by the student or by a linked parent or teacher.
If we change a price, we’ll tell existing subscribers at least 30 days before it applies to them.

Study content and AI

Notes, tests, explanations, marking and the Ask Otto tutor are produced with the help of AI and checked against the syllabus and official mark schemes, but they can contain mistakes. Use them to support your learning, not as a guarantee of exam results.
Past papers and mark schemes belong to Cambridge University Press & Assessment and are provided for personal revision. Cambridge IGCSE is their registered trademark; OttoStudy is independent and not affiliated with Cambridge.
Anything you upload stays yours. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service to you.

Availability and liability

We work hard to keep OttoStudy running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Malaysian Consumer Protection Act 1999.

Ending your account

You can stop using OttoStudy at any time and ask us to delete your account (see Privacy & safety).

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; we’ll post the new version here and tell you in the app about significant changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
